UIET HOSHIYARPUR - ONE OF THE BEST COLLEGE

I took admission in pussgrc in the year 2021. The eligibility criteria are through jee mains exam and then you have to opt for JAC Chandigarh counselling. The form for admission is on JAC Chandigarh official website. The admission is quite well and good.

I choose Btech in cse because this course is quite famous and doing well. The faculty to student ratio is about 1:5, the faculties are quite well qualified and eager to solve problems of students. The teaching methods are quite impressive, there are two mid sem exams and one full sem exam. The exam is quite a moderate level and is easy to pass.

Since I'm a fresher I don't know much about the internship but what I learned from my seniors is that there are an ample number of students getting internships in Samsung for getting an internship in companies of Germany, Canada etc.

From 3rd year 6th sem student become eligible for campus placements, there are a good amount of comapnies visting from last few years for eg wipro samsung codingninja etc the highest ctc this year was 11 LPA and the average is about 5-6 lpa almost every student from cse and IT branch gets placed but for mechanical and ece this data is very low and you might not opt this college if you are getting ece or mechnical branch. My plans after getting the degree is cracking a good mnc and practice there.

The fees are very nominal and very affordable and the price. For each sem is around 45k and for the year it's about 98k. The hostel fees are very nominal and range from 14-15k per sem. yes per sem, there are various government aided scholarships provided in the college.

The name of the annual fest is ANANT and it usually happens in the month of march. The books and journals are well sufficient for everyone and everyone can access them, the classroom are well equipped with modern technologies. The campus has immense greenery and has lush green grass fields. there are various sports available like volleyball cricket basketball badminton football a There are many clubs in the college, for example, algoders for coding platform tech for various IT related and marketing related. SHOR for dramatics dance singing etc.

the rooms are not in excess and you might not get a hostel room and rent a pgs. There is various pgs in the locality which are also very good. The rooms are big enough and given on 2 sharing bases, each room has two beds two tables two almirahs. You can also get many types of equipment on a rent basis for eg you can get an electric kettle for 75 per sem. The meal is average not so good not soo bad. The hostels are quite affordable with annual pricing going almost 30k which makes 15k per sem.
