IIT Jammu is a very prestigious institute, and not only just for science and technology but also for management courses. I got into IIT Jammu for the MBA programme because of my well maintained CAT score. I managed to get into the interview round and clear it, henceforth getting into the list of students selected.
Course Curriculum Overview
MBA is two-year long programme that has an advanced level of knowledge in the field of management and corporate. The course is divided into four semesters. The faculty at IIT Jammu is very kind. The professors have an elaborative way of teaching which makes it easier for the students to understand everything.
Placement Experience
L&T Infotech, Chegg India, Amazon, Optum, and others are among the top recruiters for the 2021 postings at IIT Jammu. IIT Jammu organises candidate placement drives by bringing in top recruits who also offer internship options. In addition, the institute has received the highest placement of Rs 50 LPA for the year 2021.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for IIT Jammu can be a little out of budget for some students. However, the university offers a way to pay all the fees in installment basis also. The overall fee structure for IIT Jammu is 13.50 Lakhs. As of now, I am not aware of the scholarships. Also, I paid the whole fees in one go. But I do know that the institute offers financial aid to students who need it.
Campus Life
Life at IIT Jammu has been very serene, considering the campus is also located at a beautiful sight. There is a library and also an e-library available. Every year, a cultural and technological festival is held. Once a year, a sports festival is held. Campus life is tranquil. Advanced classroom facilities with air conditioning.
