Remarks

The admission process is simple and it is less time consuming as admission is completed in 1-2 visits. The eligibilities are that the candidate should be passed on from 12th standard and he/she should be above 18 years old. The candidates coming under Scheduled Castes have a specific reserved percentage of seats. I don't want any improvement because it is the best simple and clear compared to other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have chosen this course because I had interest in Science and I have a good grasping power for science and technology. The college has a good faculty:student ratio of 1:8. The qualifications of the faculties are graduated and their teaching methods are easy and practical. The term exams were 2 times in an academic year and they are not hard as they are based on the portion we have taught.

Placement Experience

5

The students become eligible for the placements in the final year. The placements are in various companies like Bajaj , Reliance , Lava , Thompson , etc. The highest package was offered by Lava International Pvt Ltd for an assistant Designing and Managing Officer for an annual package of 32lacs annually. The total of 58% students are placed as per the college records. I will get a master's degree and will work in a high profile Software Company

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is divided into 2 terms and each costs around 20k/term. It is not so expensive. We have opportunities for the Maharashtra State Scholarship Program and other Olympiads also. In the final year we also get opportunity to get placed in companies and internships that give higher stipends.

Campus Life

5

There are various functions Organized by the college i.e. Annual Function , Viva Tech Fest , Viva Art Exhibition and Viva Talent Hunt. They are organised at the end of the second term after the exams. The library is full of books , novels , journals , encyclopaedias , etc. The classrooms are big in size with heavy wood desks and benches with a large whiteboard with well ventilated windows. The college also organises an annual sports day for students who are interested in sports at the end of first term. The students have various groups and social media handles by which they are inter connected and exchange various notices.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
