Remarks

I have a bad remark for my college the most students of our college are from rural area and they most of the time uses their own language and they sometime start fight with each other.

Entrance Preview

In my college there is no need of entrance exam they just took student on the marks of 12th class. And in fact all campus of Delhi university follow this method. And in my class 12th I score 92%.

Course Curriculum Overview

There was course of bachelor with hons. In commerce and in this is also in economics most of the student we can see in campus is in this course. And courses in my colleges are bachelor with hindi,English and political science.

Internships Opportunities

I am in 1 st year. The intership is for 3rd year. But I heard that the college facilities In providing placement. Many named company such as wipro and Videocon came last time.

Placement Experience

The companies which comes in our college are such as wepro,HP and Videocon. Their packages are 10 lakh to 15 lakhs. Our shyam lal college is not providing assured placement. But student with good marks and ability to talk can get job easily.

The college and event celebration such as festival. Student take part in enthusiastic way. Our last celebration in college is on Gandhi Ji. The professor give us motivational speech.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is not so high,the fees of our college of every is near 7000 rupees which is not so high. And people who can't afford rich colleges has to come in our college. Because they can get all facility In cheap price.

Scholarship is given us in the end of every year that after result. Example the student who get highest marks got scholarship of 500-1000 rupees.

The ratio if boys over girls are high. Even both boys and girls are good friend it means students of our college has good mentality. The ground and even labs are not clean sometime. The elections in our campus is my favorite part. Our colleges also organises quiz competition in which the prize money is 500 rupees. And I won it also.

Hostel Facilities

I not live in hostel. But the quality of food in our college canteen is not so much mess. Even our college provide good food on cheap price.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors of our college specially of 3rd year bullying the freshers of our college in fact they also bully me. But sometimes they help us also. And even when election day I help the leader. In getting votes.

Exam Structure

Exam are taken every year and small test also taken regulary. The questions asked us in exam are not so tough. And exam is for student who get 75% in attendance. It means we have to attend classes reguraly.

All faculty of my college are highly educated and they teaches us in good way. The may sometime be strict with us because of a good reason they all wanted us to study and we get a good job.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I was given Jagannath college but due to fee and dates i didn't got it. Du was second option. I never wanted to be part of government college because they were very far. The government college i wanted was in pitampura but I didn't got it too. The admission process Cuet If you didn't filled the cuet form so they open it again. Fill that form. My Shyam Lal College POV Memories

I choose this college because this college is most nearest Delhi University college from my home. I got this college because of my CUET marks and the preference list I made in CSAS portal. Cut off for my colleagues is not very high therefore students who want to get a good college and not expecting to get the north campus college prefer my college and the same reason I chose this college. Mostly bachelor of arts and Bachelor of commerce students prefer this college and only few students choose bachelor of science course provided by my college. I chose BBA ( general) with this course bcz shyamlal college is very famous as I think and the faculty staff is best for student, and one of the main thing for student is travelling system.... This college is very near of Welcome metro station so we can travel with metro to avoid disturbance... Let's talk about admission process-- we have to visit college or a website then choose a course which you're going to do.. then fill the form with double check ...
