College Review

The eligibility for admission is this college was a minimum of 50-60% of marks and the admission procedure was pretty simple. I went to the college website and filled the admission form than the merit list came within 3 weeks on the college website. After 1week the selected students were called for the verification and final admission procedure. The whole process took about 5 hours in the college.

They always had an urge for writing and reading so it was obvious for me to choose this course. The course syllabus is not easy and not too tough either it's all about how you plan and study. The student ratio in the class is pretty small in comparision with other departments. The faculty is very nice. They are helpful and very much friendly with us. Talking about the qualifications most of them are a PhD holder. The teaching method is also quite decent. The exams in our college is conducted on semester basis, held after 6months.

The fees structure is quite decent and affordable. The fees for my course were 4200 and during the lockdown, it came to 3500 because of the college being closed. There are also some scholarship policies for students from low financial backgrounds for which they have to contact the college office. I didn't got a job yet as i have just given my 4th-semester exam.

The college is the best part i would say. During the first year of my college, we were given a freshers party which i consider as one of the best days of my life where i enjoyed to the fullest. Apart from freshers we also have an annual fest conducted by the student's union of our college. In this fest everyone gets a chance to showcase their talent and compete. Apart from freshers our college also conducts blood donation camps which is indeed a noble act. In terms of sports, college union conducts inter-departmental football tournament every year where departments of B.A, B.sc and B.com compete with each other
