Remarks

The Interested candidates can apply for the admissions through Delhi University official website which is du.ac.in and need to fill out the form and pay the necessary application form fees. Students applying under the reservation category can also choose such an option while filling out the form. Cutoffs are duly released on the DU website and on the Hansraj College website, anyone clearing the Cutoffs can visit a college for admission within the time and date mentioned.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to pursue my Chartered Accountancy after graduation due to which I choose B.com(Hons.) from Hansraj College as Hansraj has the best faculties for commerce all over India and all the teachers are well qualified and experienced. The exams are always conducted on time and are of good level.

The students of B.com (Hons.) can apply for the internships through the internship cell from the second year onwards by logging into the internship cell portal. Many good and well known companies offered internship opportunities with a good stipend, such as DE shaw, big 4s, etc. Through the internship, the student gets the necessary corporate exposure and experience.

Placement Experience

The students of B.com (Hons.) become eligible for campus placement from the third year i.e from the 5th semester. Many big giants and well renowned companies visit the campus for placement such as Big fours, Accenture, Banks, etc. The average package offered is around 6-7 Lakhs p.a and most of the candidates got the job offer with good job profile.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for doing B.com(Hons.) from Hansraj College is around 20,000 per year which is 60,000 for the total course. Fees are affordable and economical in comparison to any other Private college. Moreover, Scholarship assistance is also available for the weaker section students and they can avail such assistance very easily.

The condition of Hansraj College infrastructure is very good and the classrooms are well furnished and has all the modern facilities (CCTV cameras, AC, etc.) Hansraj library is the Best I have ever seen, you can read/borrow any kind of book free of cost very conveniently. The ground is also well maintained and you can enjoy over there with your friends in your spare time.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
