Remarks

The environment has a different vibe surrounded by beautiful flowers. The admission process goes smoothly. Maitreyi counted on best girls college. I definitely suggest uh to go to this college uh will come out with a different personality

Course Curriculum Overview

I had chosen this course as I'm from a commerce background and I want to pursue more related to my background. Some of my faculty members are PHD holders. We have yearly term exams and the exams are not that much difficult with the guidance of your faculty you can easily crack your exam.

Course Fees: INR 3496 per year

Internships Opportunities

For the commerce student, the placement is average and a few companies visited the college to recruit them. Most of the students changed their streams for higher education or decided to give university exams to do MSC.

Placement Experience

In your final year, you are eligible for campus placement. The college witnessed the placement of 51% students in desired companies. The highest package grabbed was 9.5 LPA. More than 250 students were selected for internships.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of Delhi university is very affordable. Yes, you can avail yourself of the opportunity of a scholarship. Delhi University provides the best campus placement. The package lies between 4,00,000- 12,00,000.

Campus Life

DU provides a monthly fest but the annual fest of our college is in the month of Feb or March. You can avail any books from the library. There's a lot of group in our college which is run by students EG- Dance society.

Hostel Facilities

I had'nt opted for hostel but the hostel were still under construction then so im not sure that if they are ready yet. There are other living options around which you could check. You can opt the facility of pg.

Interview Experience

No i had not face any group discussion part during the admission part. The admission part depends upon your academic scores. If you want to pursue courses like BBA then you have give an entrance test for it.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I chose this college because it was an all-girls college. I wanted to go to Miranda, but the cutoff there was too high, and I couldn't make it. The admission process was simple. I have applied to aryabhatta College before Maitreyi College for Women. So comparison to this college Maitreyi colleges stands out on various aspects:- Before 2024 the admission process is entirely dependent on merit list and the cutoffs. But from 2024 the admission process changed and now Cuet Exam is mandatory. A valid score of cuet and 12 th class is required.
