Internship and project

The admission is done by two ways. First one is through it's own exam and another is based on jee mains . It aslo perticipat at CSAB counselling. The exams conducted by the institute are CITDEE, CITBTEE and CITMET. Through CITBTEE you can admit at B Tech programme, CITDEE is for diploma programme, and CITMET is for master's program in various engineering branches. CIT also provide design courses. For admission into design , you have to qualify a entrance exam conducted by CIT kokrajhar and also through iit bombay exam, you can admit here.

Our teachers are quite helpful. They solve our each and every academic problems. But in such cases we don't understand anything teaches by our teachers , such conditions applicable with only few teachers. Most of the teachers are highly qualified and having a great knowledge in their perticular sector.

Internship in our college is good. You will have many opportunities for internship in CIT. You have to make a major project and some small projects also in the campus lab.Many companies visit our campus for internship. College provides students a great internship facility.

Placement is not good. If you are a student of civil instrument engineering or food engineering then u will not have any campus job even if u r the topper of your batch. But if u r a student of CSE or ECE then there is a small hope that you may get a campus job. There are no product based companies are coming to campus for placement.

The admission fees is nearly 50k and the hostel fees is 5k every semister. Mess fees is 2500 per month which is very high according to me. You can have scholarship from government schemes but there is no any institutional scholarship facility. The campus jobs are not good. Only CSE students are getting placed.

There is two annual festivals are there in CIT. Techracy for technical fest and extracy for cultural fest. CIT have a basketball ground , a vollyball ground a football ground and many types of sports facilities are there.There are many clubs like Saogiri for photography. Robotics for innovation and technology, drama club and music club and many more. There is a new club opend this year called Cyber X security.

There are 4 hostels for boys and 3 for girls. The rooms are good a fully equipped with furniture. If you are a boarder of SNM SJ or DJ hostel then you will have 2 roommates but if u a boarder of BJ hostel then 4 members will have in one room.The quality of mess food is not good. There are many private PGs near the institution.
