Highly recommended for admission

The admission process of the college was as usual. At first, I gave WBJEE and JEE main entrance exam. Now, after declaration of entrance result, I went through three round councelling. After, three round I had been alloted a seat in computer science and engineering in JIS college of engineering in mop up round. Then, I had contacted to my college. They told me to bring necessary documents within last date. Then, I had gone to college for admission. In my college, there were staffs for admission. They told me to fill up the admission form. Then, I had filled it and gave admission fee 85,300/- for first semester. Afterthat, my admission got completed. There are so many students for admission. But only two staffs were present there. College should look at this. Students want more staffs for admission process. This imptovement I want to see in the admission process.

I love to play with computers from my childhood days. The computer language attracts me a lot. There are many scopes for specialization in this department. There are lots of job opportunities in this stream. You can go outside of india for job. So, I had chosen this course. The student and faculty ratio is nearly 40:1 which is a big plus point. The teachers, mentors and faculty members are highly qualified with each member possessing a minimum M.tech degree. Their teach methods are excellent. They are very helpful and amicable. They are very very punctual and made every doubts and confusions understandable and easy. They are very much friendly. They contact through whatsapp and call with us. They also provide youtube lectures for our reference purpose. The term exams held two times in every third month. The exams are very much standard and harder than usual.

Our college provide internship to students. There is internshala for internship which give various opportunities for students. The college authority tell us to join many websites for easy and affordable internship. Many projects and industrial visits are organized for experience.

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement drive. In our college many reputed companies like Amazon, TCS, Infotech, Capgemini, Cognizant, Tech mahindra, Wipro, Flipkart visited last year. They give many job offers to eligible students. The highest salary package offered in my stream is around 6 lakh per annum and the average salary package offered is around 3 lakh per annum. Around 79% students got placements in our department in last year. My plan is to get a high profile company job and settled down. I am also thinking for higher studies like M.tech. Now, time will say that.

The total fees for the complete 4 year CSE course is around 4.5 lakhs. For financial assistance, our college provide Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum scholarship in which you can get 60000 per year. By the way, the college has TFW seats in that case you can complete B.tech in CSE in just 70000/- rupees. From CSE you can get jobs easily. In, my college many students got jobs in campus placement.

The name of the annual fest is JISE TECHFEST in my college. The fest happens around february to march in every year. Many students participate in various programmes. The college provide books for free from the central library. The central library has around 10000+ books in it. Free books are provided to every students in every semester. Our classrooms are neat and clean with many indoor trees. There are ACs, fans, lights. Classrooms are Flipped learning enabled. Every year a sport day has been organized in which many events like cricket, football, table tennis, jumps, musical chair, running are organized in our big green playground. Besides theory class we have seminars, webinars, meetings, yoga and meditation classes for extracurricular activities.Many social groups and clubs like environment clubs, short film clubs, coding clubs, NCC clubs, Science clubs, dance and music clubs etc are active in social media and college.

The hostel is quite affordable. The hostel rooms are good with two students per room. In each room, there are two beds, two wardrobes, two tables and chairs. We have separate bathrooms and toilets. Beside this, the hostel has special laundry, dining room and common room. The meal in hostel is delicious with five servings per day. In special occasions, our hostel caretaker arrange special food items like biriyanir, pasta, momos etc. In morning tea and toasts, in tiffin time Kachori and Alur dom, in lunch time rice, daal, veggies, eggs, fishes and chicken, in evening snacks, in night rotis and tarkas are provided to us. During admission you have to apply for hostel separately and should deposit 38000/- rupees for 6 month fees. The hotel is nearby the college. It is like one minute walk from college. This is the huge advantage.
