IIIT Sri City Review

The college is a very good option for those who are not able to clear or make it to IITs or NITs. IIIT Sri City CSE B.Tech is the flagship course of the college. During my JOSAA counselling, I was allotted the seats in IIIT Sri City. The college is popular for its education quality for the CSE program. The college has good placements for CSE. After entering the college I also realised the faculty and the environment for the college is very good.

The curriculum of the college is as per the industrial norms and international industry standards. The curriculum is the proper blend of theoretical and practical knowledge. The curriculum of the college provides us with good research opportunities. The faculty of the college is very experienced. The college does not compromise with the quality of faculty and the faculty really help us during the research and assignments. The faculty is not only PhD level but also have good industrial exposure which is very beneficial for us.

The internship is compulsory for us and we have to complete at least 9 weeks of internship. Our details are registered with the placement committee of the college and they help us around to find companies for the internship program. The average stipend is around 45k.

The college has good placement standards and the placement record of the college is also very good. The college has a 100% placement record. The placement committee plays a major role in it because the placement committee is fully responsible for the complete placement process. They help us around during the placement rounds so that we can clear and receive good packages. The highest package for our batch was around 35 LPA and the average package was approx 12 LPA.

The four-year program fee is around 9 lakh and the average salary package is around 12-15 lakh. The education facility is available and the admission department will cooperate with the education loan process. The state and central government-funded scholarships are available but the college does not provide any scholarship schemes and fellowship programs at the moment.

The college campus life is smooth and good. The seniors and the administrative staff is very cooperative. Abhisarga is the annual fest of the college. The classrooms are well maintained and the classrooms are fitted with AC. The college infrastructure is well maintained. The college library is the house of many national and international books and international research journals are available that are very helpful during our assignments.

The rooms are available with double sharing and the rooms are spacious and properly ventilated. The hostel is properly maintained and the hostel wardens and the staff is very cooperative because of them the hostel decorum is properly maintained. The hostel mess food is good and the menu is very diverse. The menu has both veg and non-veg food and 3 days a week non-veg is served. The hostel has 24 hours of WiFi, power and electricity supply. The hostel has all kinds of basic facilities as per our comfort.
