The eligibility of the course is based on the merit of the students. All students who have passed higher secondary examination or equivalent with more than 60% in PCM subjects and passed the KEAM entrance examination are eligible for applying for the course. The selection criteria are based on the merit of the students. 50% of seats are filled by the CEE through a centralized allotment process and are based on the rank of the students in the KEAM entrance examination. The remaining 50% of seats are filled by the college management directly considering the merit of the students in the higher secondary examination. Merit quota seats are eligible for reservation benefits as per government reservation policies. But the management quota seats don't provide any such benefits. The applications for admission can be filled out directly from the college website.

Computer science and engineering branch provide great carrier opportunities. So it is one of the best options for students. The college curriculum is designed such that it provides great scientific knowledge to the students. All the faculties in the college are very supportive and caring. They all have high qualifications and most of them completed their post-graduate and PhDs from NITS and IITs. The teaching method is somewhat textbook oriented however the portions taught are very clear. The end semester examination is conducted at the end of each semester by the University and the question paper is somewhat tough. During each semester college conducts two series exams with a time gap of two months. The internal examination questions are moderate and are easy to pass with a basic understanding of the subject. The overall pass percentage of the college is about 60%.

Internship opportunities are provided for everyone in the college and students start getting internships from the third semester itself. The college has a dedicated department for providing internship opportunities to the students. They work in connection with top companies to provide internships to students. The roles offered to the students are that of assistant posts and are provided with stipends. Major companies providing internship in the campus are Wipro, Infosys, etc. This internship provides great opportunities for students to boost their carrier. Internships provide huge industrial knowledge and exposure to the students. This will help the students to get jobs in reputed companies easily. All the companies are willing to provide jobs to students having industrial knowledge. So the internship provides big opportunities for the students. On average, more than 80% of students get atleast one internship opportunity.

The college offers opportunities for those seeking jobs through campus interviews. Placement activities in the college begin from the seventh semester and continue till the eighth semester. Special placement trainings are provided in the college from the first semester itself making the students confident to face the interviews. A number of reputed companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, UST Global, HCL, etc conduct placement activities in the college. The average salary package offered is about 3LPA. The highest salary package offered is 15LPA and was secured by the computer science department. The computer science and engineering branch get a huge number of placements every year with more than 80% of students getting placed. So considering the placement opportunities this is one of the best colleges in Kerala.

The college fees structure is semester based. Like any other private colleges the fees are very high and the approximate cost of study is about 6 lakhs. The college offers different categories of scholarship schemes for meritorious students. There are fee waiver schemes which are applicable for meritorious students. Students who secure more than 95% in higher secondary examination or less than 10k in KEAM entrance examination are given a full fee waiver. Based on the merit of the students in the higher secondary examination and KEAM entrance examination many more scholarships are available. The college provides a special cell for facilitating educational loans to the students. The campus doesn't provide any job opportunities with stipend.

The college is known for the infrastructure it provides. This is one of the best colleges in Kerala in this regard. The college conducts different events and cultural fests. The annual tech fest is conducted every year during the even semester and it provides a lot of knowledge and experience to the students. This is one of the best tech fests in Kerala. So it is a great opportunity for the students to get involved in it. All the events and festivals are conducted during the even semester. The college has one of the biggest scientific libraries across Asia with all the science textbooks and journals. The textbooks are also available online and are free to use. The classroom is well maintained and well equipped with all the hi-tech facilities.
