Life in RAMANUJAN COLLEGE

I opt for BCom Hons in the seventh cut off which is 91.25 % + 1% concession for girls. When admission starts you have to go to the college with some documents with is mentioned on the college website. There are many students who will let you know like where to go for admission then once you reached the admission room they will ask for your 12th mark and calculates the top 4 percentage and if your percentage is meet the cut off released then they will ask you to fill an admission form which includes your personal info you academic info and other info then you have to submit that in college at the same day once for form approved then you just have to pay the fee online within next 2 days.

Actually, I wanted to choose this course as I'm from a commerce background. The teachers of our college are really very friendly and help us regarding everything which includes your subject problems or your any personal problem. There are around 25+ faculty in Commerce Department. Most of the teachers provide us notes after classes and even many uses screen projectors to make studies more interesting. Exams are conducted in may-June for all even sem and nov-dec for all odd sem. You just have to listen to the class properly then it's very easy to pass the exam.

Many startups offer internships to the students but some of them are paid and some are unpaid basically in the internships you have to give around 2-3 hours a day to the internship work. I have also done 3-4 internships but those are unpaid but they provided me lof and certificate from the company.

When I got admission to the college at that time placement cell is like invisible very rare people knows about placement cell becoz at that time the cell is very inactive bt during the online period placement cell started bringing as many companion as possible. My companies like KPMG, E&Y, BYJU'S etc recruit students from the campus. There are many internship opportunities for 1 years students as well. Highest package is 10,00,000 BYJUS and average is 400000 around. Around 20% students of college is getting placed.

Bcom Hons annual fees are - 25000 for general category students while for other categories fee may vary like for obc it's 19000 something. If we talk about how to reach the college then you can travel by metro and the nearest metro station is Govind puri metro station, Nehru place (violet line) and Nehru enclave ( magenta line) then take the auto to reach college which costs you 20Rs. Per person. There are good job opportunities as the placement cell of the college is very active and brings as my company for Recurment.

The annual fest is generally conducted in the month of March every year but I got admission in 2019 so I was very excited for the fest but unfortunately due to covid lockdown happened and we spent almost 2 years at home so basically due to covid I spend 6 months in offline college and rest 24 months at home which ruins my college life. But ya those 6 months are really very amazing we enjoyed very much. There are many societies in the College and even I'm a part of 4 societies.
