Remarks
The admission process is completely based on merit. (i.e 12th score ) you can fill out the registration form on du website and the application fee is 250. When du will release cutoff you can find college according to your percentage and apply in that course and college. My perspective is that government should lower the cutoff in the best colleges cause it's very tough to get in with 99% cutoff
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen Bcom cause it will open you many opportunities in future like CA, MBA, law etc. There will be only one teacher for every subject . Most teachers qualification is PhD. And they teach like a school teacher. But if you will concentrate on the teacher listening. You can easily understand the topic. And the term exams are every 6 months as now its offline you have to study before 1 month thoroughly to score good marks.
Placement Experience
After 3rd semester students are available for placement. EY, HCL, Deloitte are companies visited but only 5-10 % will grab the on-campus placement. I will do MBA after BCom as it will get me a good package.
Fees and Financial Aid
As its du college, its fee is very cheap it will be no hindrance for you but on campus jobs are difficult here as only a few students with good skills can grab the job .but after you do postgraduation it will be easy for you to get a job.
Campus Life
Mehak is the annual fest conducted every year in February. You can most probably get all the books you need in the library but there are most chances that the book in demand will be grabbed by other students who issued first. There are no sports activities in college but there is ncc if you want to go in defence or army it will be best for you as it will help you train. And there is fashion society, dance , music, drama society in our college . And the infrastructure is very poor
