Admission in Mathematics Hons in Delhi university is through merit bases, one must have advanced mathematics in your high school. If you get the minimum percentage required to enroll in the course you can directly go to the college and apply there.

Course Curriculum Overview

If you love mathematics and the reasoning behind it, then maths hons is the course for you. It is very theoretical, and a few subjects are boring, but once you understand why are you doing this, it can be the most intriguing course. This course forces you to think. The faculty at LBC for mathematics hons is great, teachers are understanding and will help you in every step. Most of our professor has Ph.D. from great colleges one of my professors is an IITD graduate. Again, maths Hons is not an easy course, you will need to study consistently, but it is not difficult. If you can give it some time, you can easily score well in college exams.

Internships Opportunities

Our college does have some decent internships with stipends up to 15000 pm. Job profiles that regularly can be seen are research analyst, subject matter expert, digital marketing, business development.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of our college is relatively new, thus no remarkable company have visited our college. The average package that I have seen in the jobs is 300000 pa. One gets eligible for the placement in 3rd year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Delhi University is famous for its affordability of good education. Maths hons fees in LBC is almost 9000 per year, which in total sums up to 27,000 for your whole graduation. Financial assistance is Honorable for those who need it. Maths Hons is a very theoretical course, thus most companies do not hire them, but if you do an additional course with it, it can lead you to a very good job profile.

Campus Life

Being an off-campus college, it has an average campus life, we have a lot of active societies which organize fests regularly. In fact, in 2019, Sidharth Malhotra and Pariniti Chopra visited our college for the promotion of their film.

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

The Best is Yet to Come !!

I had applied for a number of other colleges, but after the allotment got it into the present one. but I am totally happy here about my course, the co- curricular activities and about the faculties. If I start to compare my college with other colleges, there are a number of places where my college is a bit behind, may be in the case of infrastructure or placements.The main reason I was not able to be of another college was about the marks that I achieved in cuet ug and I guess more preparation was necessary. The admission process was easy, where the admission letter was given along with my marksheet of 12th standard and cuet scores was submitted. I had applied for a number of North campus colleges and I didn't get it into them , the reason is about the marks scored in cuet ug.I didn't get any rejection from any of the college.
