Students who complete their higher secondary education and qualify engineering entrance exam are eligible to pursue BTech engineering. NCERC provides government and management seats. Students of government merits are taken admission through allotments and management students take admission by directly coming to college. Tuition feeses for each student are varied. Students who got admission through allotments have fixed tuition fees and fees of sc/st categories are paid by the government. So many scholarships are offered by colleges based on students' marks and family backgrounds.

Mechanical engineering is one of the best courses in the engineering field it is also known as the mother of engineering. The strength of students are comparatively low and there is an appropriate number of faculties are there to guide students. All the faculties are highly educated and have a proper vision about the subjects. Term exams are conducted twice per semester as per the model of the university exams.

Students are eligible for campus placement from the seventh semester onwards. Highly reputed companies like tcs, kinfra, wipro, byjus, Infosys are offering placement to students. The highest salary package offered by the company is 10lakhs per annual and the lowest salary package is 5000/month. Each year 40% of students get placed in highly reputed.

Tuition feeses for each student are varied. There are three categories students are there based on tuition fees. Nri students, management merit students, government merit students. Management merit students have fees below government fees, NRI students have the high fees, government merit students are a fixed fee which is paid by the government for sc/st students. Financial assistance are offered by the college to study based on the mark, family background, etc.

Nehru science innovative fest NSITE, big cultural fest BLOOM are the main functions conducted in NCERC besides arts day, campus day, sports day, department day, NSS day, NCC day, Onam celebration, Vishu celebration are all celebrated in a well-planned manner.
