Remarks

MIT WPU conducts an admission test every year for 1st year. This exam is known as WPU-MEET. You will get 2hr and 180 questions to solve based on your 11th and 12th std or MHT-CET/ JEE MAINS syllabus. Try to appear in the first session of WPU-MEET because it gives more benefit than 2nd or onward sessions. 100 plus score is more than enough in the first session to avail the seat in the college. Along with WPU-MEET exam marks college to review your JEE / MHT-CET score for clarification. You will find the application form and the dates on the website of the college. mitwpu.edu.in Application fee is not that much you can pay that fee from your pocket money. Our college provides the Reservation benefits like Defence, EBC, EWS, etc. For that, you have to contact the student section in the college. The teaching faculty is well and good. But need to change some teachers who are not up to mark.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My branch is Electrical and Computer engineering. This branch is allotted to me from the WPU-MEET entrance exam. This branch is the better version of electrical engineering. In this, we are going to learn the computer applications based on electrical appliances and applications. The faculty of my branch is well educated and supportive 1:16 is approx faculty: student ratio. Every teacher is well-educated and a few teachers are Ph.D. Holders. Every teacher gives attention to the students solving their problems. Talking about the mid-term, end term exams so MIT WPU has a culture of TRIMESTER where you have to appear for 3 End term and 3 midterm exams. Exams are going to happen in an online mode right now due to COVID19. Exam level is moderate If you study regularly you will achieve a good grade in exams.

Placement Experience

4

As I am in the first year, I don't have that much knowledge about the placement. But yes, the college has a well and good placement cell, and they help students to grab a good placement from the campus. The average package is up to 6.5 lakhs approx as I know. Companies like MICROSOFT, AMAZON, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, and many MNCs appear for the placement drive on campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of the college is 3.10 lakhs/year for B.Tech. No hike in the fees. So according to the fees you have to pay at least 13lakhs for your B.Tech for 4 years except for monthly expenses and living expenses. There are many scholarships from the college. When you visit the college website there is one tab on that you will see the scholarship names and conditions for that. From 2021 there is one club in the college known as Finance club which helps you to generate your expenses by yourself. Moving ahead on the topic of the internship so yeas college provides you internships, campus ambassador programs, and many more with stipends. Also, you can apply for internships by yourself through any platform. As I am the campus ambassador for the coding NInja I get a stipend based on my work and I applied for that from their platform.

Campus Life

4

As I enrolled in the college from 2021, college is going in the online mode. I visited college many times and felt that college social life is too good. Not that much restriction to live our social life. The college has a huge library with more than 50k books in it. Classrooms are well maintained and with some types of equipment. The college promotes the Peace of living life also they conduct seminars, webinars on the topic of peace. The college promotes sports every year there will be championships for all the sports. Also, Inter-college championships also conducted. The college takes care of the physical health of the students. Seniors run many well-established clubs on the campus. All these clubs take part in various competitions like SPURA SAE, Formula Bharat. There is a recruitment process to join the club with 3 steps aptitude test, GD, and then a personal interview.
