Remarks

To get admission in our College one needs to go to the official college website and fill the application form. Every details is available on CollegeDunia website. Based on the application you have submitted your merit score is generated and after a week or two the merit list will be published on the official college website and student will be required to get themself admitted within due date. Some seats are reserved for SC,ST, OBC.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have Choosen B.com (honours) as because i had interest in commerce field. Normally there are around 80-85 Students in our class but only 30-35 students attend the classes regularly. The teachers are well qualified and have great experience. Some teachers have been serving inour Colleges since 20 Years.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 2650 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

As our college is Government Sponsored, so its fees is low. One can complete his/her graduation by spending around a total of Rs.15000 in 3 years. Scholorship provided by the college are Swami Vivekananda Scholorship, Oasis Scholorship.

Campus Life

Freshers are held in the month of September and Farewell are held in the month of July. Sports week is usually held between May-June, where sports like Cricket, Football, 100m Race, etc are Played. Library has enough number of books for the students. Classroom is Average. No digital classes. Our college has 2 groups named: National Cadet Corps (NCC) & National Service Scheme (NSS).

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
