My sweet and sour college life

To get admission to this college you have to give WBJEE exam or JEE MAIN exam. For me, I give WBJEE exam and get a 7521 rank. There are no other application methods or application charges to get admission to this college, you have to give WBJEE exam to get a good rank and after counseling, you can get admission to this college. there are some management quotas, there you have to pay a huge amount of money to get admission.

I like computer programming and software-based work so I decided to take admission in IT. There are around 40 teachers in the IT department and around 120 students in every batch. All of the faculty members are well educated but some are not very helpful to students, this department is the most strict department I have ever seen. If anyone can tolerate this then welcome. We have an exam every month, even the syllabus is complete or not it does not matter and it's not so easy to pass the exam. If you want to get good marks then you have to be a good student in impression.

Around 60% of the student get paid internships from our department. Generally, it starts from the 6th semester. Works on web development. App development and like other types of projects companies offer as internships.

Generally after the 6th sem campus placement process start. Most of the students get a placement at the end of the 7th sem. Generally in the IT department, 95% of students get on-campus placement on an average of 3.5 lakhs. Companies like TCS, Wipro, PWC, and other renowned companies come. Some students were placed in amazon and Microsoft also. The highest package is around 30 lakhs.

We have to pay 80000 in 1st sem, 65000 in the second sem, and from the third sem to the eighth sem 56500 each semester, in total 4.84 lakhs. In this fees exam fees are not included, you have to pay them separately. In the IT department, you will surely get a placement and if you are a good student you will get a very good package.

There are several clubs for several activities like tech club Geekonix, startup club IIC, social club Ankurans, etc. Every club organizes its fest, so your college life will be full of enjoyment. You can get all your textbooks from the library. There are two playgrounds in college. There you can play football only.
