Remarks

All in all, a good place to make some memories whilst you become a doctor. We had our ups and downs but in the end it was all worth it.

Entrance Preview

SDUMC entance exam, conducted seperately as it's a deemed university. Chose the course as I always wanted to be a doctor as a child.

College Events

3.5

Inter and intra college fests including a numerous sports and cultural events and CMEs, medical conferences and stuff. All worth taking part in.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Varies from year to year but not very expensive to be frank

Campus Life

3.5

Quiet a bit of extra curriculars. Yearly sports and cultural fests including intra and intercollege events. Also had a foreign student programme under which each batch of ours had about 15 students from Malaysia.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Nothing to brag about but the hostel and the food just does the job.

Exam Structure

Exams in MBBS are always hectic and our college is no lose in checking our answer sheets.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
