Remarks
I felt that NIT college has the best engineering program which is why NITs are very popular among aspirant engineers. I decided to be part of the NIT Srinagar because as per my JEE score I was able to meet the college cutoff marks and the faculty of the NIT Srinagar is also quite impressive. After clearing my JEE I appeared for JOSAA counselling and was able to secure my seat in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the college is very good and as per the latest industrial development. The curriculum is flexible and can adapt to the change as per the industrial guidelines. The college faculty is also very good. The faculty of the college teaching methods are very simple and the faculty properly help us to clear all the concepts. The faculty have completed their PhD program from the top universities of India and they also have very good research experience also which is very beneficial form us.
Internships Opportunities
The internship program of the college is also good and very nicely designed. The college invites more than 25+ companies for the college internship program and the average stipend for the internship is around 45k. We can take part in the college internship program after the second year.
Placement Experience
The college placement standards are good. The college manages to maintain a record of 100% placement. The college placement committee and college management work together for the improvement of the college placement quality. The highest placement offer was around 25 LPA and the average salary package is approx 14 LPA. More than 75+ companies visited our campus for the college placement drive.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholarships on a merit basis and the college also provides financial help to the needy. Campus Life
The college is located in a very beautiful location and the view is very scenic. The college infra is well developed and as per the location the college campus is well planned and well designed. The classrooms are airy and fitted with digital boards and a computer system in every class rooms. The college labs are recently renovated and have all the modern tools. The college library is very good as we can find very kind of books from every stream.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are available on sharing basis means one room is shared by more than five boys but the rooms are very well designed and properly maintained. The wardens are also professional. The hostel mess food quality is very good and proper hygiene is maintained. The hostel has 24 hours of water and power supply and hot water are available during the winter. The security of the hostel is also good.
