Festivals were absolute fun at Chinai College. Inter College Dance competitions, sports competitions in Cricket, Carrom, Badminton were eye popping to watch.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As Chinai college is Govt. undertaking college, fee is feasible to pay, college also has qouta system for Minorities is the advantage. Minimal fee structure is also available for girls for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Currently no loan facility is available by the college, however there are certain scholarship programmes available.

Campus Life

4

Apart from theoretical study Ample options are available for extra curricular work. Sports like Cricket, Carrom, Chess, Football, Badminton are popular at Chiani College.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel has been recently renovated, so its much much better than last year, food quality is good, varieties are available during weekends and specifically during festivals, It has a sharing system, 1500/ person is the approx. rent for and individual.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors have always been encouraging, supportive. Happy to have them as a guide in a new environment. Not only in studies but also in personal life they have been supportive.

Exam Structure

Exams were never hectic, but had to get serious during exams, Paper pattern were mostly short and long answers with options.

Faculty

4

Faculty is the another positive thing that made me join this college, some teachers also explained topics in Hindi for student who belonged to vernacular medium before, which helped them understand the topic properly.

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
