Heritage Institute Of Technology Review

The B.Tech program is the most opted course of Heritage Institute Of Technology. Heritage Institute Of Technology is an autonomous institute affiliated with MAKAUT, Kolkata and accredited by NAAC, NBA and approved by AICTE. After passing my JEE I applied for admission to the college. The admission form was filled out online from the college website by paying Rs. 500 as an application fee during my time. The college admission system was well planned and well managed.

The curriculum of the college is the latest and up to date. The curriculum is properly balanced with computer technological study and management knowledge. The curriculum properly covers all the topics like computer algorithms, computer coding, computer hardware and software knowledge with business management, finance, business finance and business strategy and many more. The faculty of the college is also very good and highly experienced. The faculty is mostly of PhD level and they have completed their PhD degree from the top universities of India. The college provides very good faculty and guest faculty also visit the campus.

The college provides internships in the second year of the program and we also have to complete the different projects as per the topics. We have to complete the projects in the third year as per the topics provided by the faculty or as chosen by us. The internships are also paid. The internship stipend ranges from 18000 to 45000.

The placement of the college is also good. The college management and placement committee work together for the placement condition. The college placement committee members are well trained and highly qualified and with their knowledge, they also guide us during the time of placement. The highest placement offer of the college is around 18 LPA and the average placement offer is around 10 LPA.

The college provides scholarships through the help of Calcutta Club Limited the scholarship scheme name is Centenary Scholarship Fund. The scholarship is provided on a financial basis means scholarship to financial need basis. The education loan facility is also available through the Vidya Lakshmi portal which helps in providing easy access to the loan facility for the college.

ECLECIA cultural fest and DAKSHH is the technical fest of the college. The college also organises several college competitions like debate and quiz competitions are organised at the end of every month. The college infrastructure is also very good. The classrooms are designed nicely and a proper ventilation facility is also available. The college also has a sports facility for sports lovers we have a badminton and basketball court. The campus also has ATM and Punjab National Bank is in the campus facility plus a medical facility on the campus is also available.

The hostel is good but the drawback is that the hostel seats are limited so the hostel facility is available only on a first come first serve basis. The hostel rooms are available on sharing basis and a single-seater basis. The hostel mess food is good. The 24 hours of water and power supply is available and the hostel also has a health care facility like a doctor and a nurse is available in the hostel campus. The hostel has sports facilities like badminton, volleyball and basketball court. The indoor games facility is also available. I have also made very good friends by staying at the hostel campus.
