If you want to get into Jaypee University of Information Technology, Solan, Himachal Pradesh and pursue Computer Science Engineering all you have to do is get a decent percentage in 12th boards or a decent percentile in jee mains. But mind it, there are limited seats and apply as soon as possible. You can find the application form and all other details on there website. And yes the college also support reservation criteria but I am not sure about its details. I believe the admission process is perfect and smooth and i guess there is no need of improvement in the process.

I chose Computer Science and Engineering because from childhood I had an immense interest in the field of technology. The faculty and student ratio is really nice. There is a professor on around a hundred students for the common subject class and for the tutorial and labs, there is a professor and thirty students. The faculty is well qualified all have done their Ph.D. and they also teach the subjects really well. So there are a total of three exams in a semester T1, T2, T3. T1 is 15 marks, T2 is 25 marks and T3 is 35 marks. The exams are easily scorable if you just pay attention in the classes and do the tutorial sheets given by the teachers.

There is a number of companies that visit for recruitment and the students can sit in placement from the 7th semester. The companies that visit for recruitment are amazon, Infosys, Wipro, and other big companies. The average package is Rs. 8lakhs and the highest package offered is from Amazon for Rs. 30lakhs. There is 100% placement of the students.

The academic fee for one semester is around Rs.98000 and the hostel fee is 63000 for one semester if you want to avail single room there are 7000 per semester extra charges. And if you will do good in academics of course you will get a scholarship from the college. So there is a nice value for money in college. There is great placement opportunities in the college because of the mass recruiters.

The campus is located in the lap of nature in Waknaghat, Solan, and is really beautiful. The campus is good but is not that happening because of its remote location. There is one annual fest called "LeFiestus" and one tech fest called "Murious". The library is really big and is on 3 floors and almost has every book you need. The classrooms are pretty big. There is not many facilities for sports but there is badminton, basketball, table tennis, football, There are many clubs for the students like ACM, IEEE, Codechef, Rotract and many more.

The hostel rooms come in two variants single and double. Every room consists of a bed, an almirah, a mattress, a bookshelf, a shoe rack, a sturdy chair, a sitting chair, a fan, a tube light. The food in the mess is good and there is a lot of option on the menu. The registration process for a hostel is smooth and affordability is also good. The fess for a hostel is 63000 per semester and 7000 extra for a single room per semester.
