Remarks

After JEE Advanced, I gave my priority order for the institutes in JOSAA portal which we have to login using credentials used in registering for MAINS and ADVANCED. Application form, fees and dates will be updated in the JOSAA portal itself. It is also visible in NTA website also

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course out of my interest in the electrical field. The faculty is very good and supportive. All the faculty members are very knowledgeable and qualified from top universities. Faculty: Student ratio doesn't matter much, since the professors can handle everything on their own or with the help of TA's (Teaching Assistants). If we tend to go with the flow of the course we can easily score good grades. A number of exams and their schedule depends upon the professor who's teaching the course. A course may have weekly quizzes, assignments, projects, presentations etc.

Class Size: 204Course Fees: INR 114000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Stipend depends upon the internship offered and it's type. If the internship is a research oriented one at foreign universities you get a stipend of minimum 1 lakh.The company itself may provide charges for your travel and stay.

Placement Experience

From fourth year onwards students are eligible for placements. And eligibilty for internships start fron 2nd taer onwards only. If you meet the requirements you may score a internship at 2nd year only.

Fees and Financial Aid

Each semester tution fees is approximately 114000 rupees. And it is very better when compared to other institutes in India. To support you financially theer are many scholarship opportunities present and can apply with your interest.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is very beautiful and very socializing. There are many events that happen regularly. Mood Indigo, Techfest are the well-known fests that are the biggest in Asia. There are many clubs both tech and non tech that is run solely by students. For example Racing Club, Aero Modelling Club, Electronics and Robotics Club, Web and Coding Club and many more.

Hostel Facilities

In a room, we are provided with a table, cupboard, chair for each person. There is no registration process or so since we are allowed the Hostel and Room by the management itself. The electricity, room rent is very cheap and rated at 2000 rupees each for a semester. The mess fee is around 22000 rupees. Depending upon the mess contract the taste of food is either good or bad.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

Placement Experience:

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

Best in the neighborhood, convenient to reach , easily accessible for all the student's , good faculty and good quality of education, amenities available are great along with the essential facilities. Exposure to national level competitions along with the motivation to attempt them.Practical knowledge is also provided with the theoretical knowledge

I did applied for iit delhi also as it was my home town but got IIT Bombay as it was much better for me because of placements and brand value. so i did fill for other college but yes iit bombay was my 1st preference so i got it and acc to my rank i was gettinng into iit bombay very easily but to be on safe side i added more option . so i have cleared jee advanced to get here . for mtech you have to pass gate . the admission iprocess is impler only its mostlyy digital.cutoffs of jee adv is obviously very high due to number of student who wnt to go in iit and number of studnet who get selected there is huge difference so dropper increases ....Read More
