In east delhi there are not much colleges of delhi university,Shyamlal college is one of the good colleges in delhi and it is also near of my house. I opted for economics honours on 12th marks base. I took this course because there is very good scope for economics students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is very good for studying bachelor degree courses but not for master degree colleges,there are also some politics and elections which sometimes creates problem, but overall it is a very nice college.
Placement Experience
This college is good for course and certification but not much for direct placement. There were not much stipend offered. But by getting delhi university degree you can easily get many opprtunities.
College Events
Many festivals and events took place regularly in this college. Both teachers and students participate in them.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees was also very less compared to other colleges for 1 semester all you have to pay is just 8000rs so it is very very affordable compared to other colleges with this standards.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes for poor and SC,ST,OBC students college provide many scholarship programs, like bhimrao ambedkar Scholarship etc,to support backward students also.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are also very cooperative. Infact they many times organise parties with juniors to enjoy and understand each other. There regularly held many events and campaigns, which seniors and freshers to together.
Exam Structure
Exams were quite competitive, we had to study a lot, but library and labs provided us very favorable environment, also professors were also very supportive and kind.
Faculty
Electives, faculty and standards are all good and supportive there is good environment to learn. Also if you are intrested in sports this college is one of best in dlehi.
