Great experience

The admission was merit based and no entrance exams were held at my time. My 4 subjects aggregate percentage was above the cut off for this course in the Ramanujan College, so I applied for admission. I was from the General category but there are reservations available for some categories and the cut offs are different for a particular category.

I chose this course because of my interest in this area. I have gain skills about finance and accounts. The faculty members are very supportive and helpful, they are knowledgeable and experienced. They taught exceptionally well and give time to time assignments for better understanding of the concepts. Exams are held on semester basis.

Internship opportunities are also provided by the college. Some companies offer unpaid internship while others offer internship with stipend. The profiles are different for particular courses. Some of the roles are operation manager, social media manager, business development associate, marketing, sales etc.

The Placement and Career Development Cell is responsible for bringing companies and updating students about the upcoming opportunities of jobs and internships in the college. AARAMBH is the pc which offers a plethora of opportunities for personality development and job orientation. I am planning for higher studies.

The fees for my course is approx Rs 20000 a year and examination fees for all the semester exams are excluded from it and is paid seperately before the exams. There are opportunities of scholarship and financial assistance for the students who apply for the same and submit proper documents which are verified by the college.

The college crowd is awesome. There are people from different states and have different cultures. Many Societies are there in our college like Women Development, E-cell, Placement and Career Development Cell, etc. There is a library in college from where you can issue books or study in silence. Canteen is also there with quality food.
