Aayush Nagpal's Review On BML Munjal University - [BMU], Gurgaon

The college management is very good in terms of listening to the children.They not only take decisions of faculty alone but they take decisions of the students as well in many things.In all the way till now we have a good experience of our college.

IITJEE - 85/360, BITSAT - 197 /450, VIT - RANK 3927. But I chose this college because of being a founder batch student and moreover its mentor is Imperial College London and the univeristy is of HERO GROUP.

The course curriculum is much better than other universities. It contains many innovative subjects like Joy of Engineering, World Civilisations.Talking about electives, there are subjects related to law and subjects related to computer languages like ruby, python , swift. Thereis an elective subject of Automobile Designing.

Since we are the founder batch, we did attend Practice School/Internship for 1 week in our 1st year. Siemens has partnered with BML MUNJAL UNIVERSITY and is going to open a Centre of Excellence.

Since the placements will start by December this year for the MBA's but they will be getting a good package.

Since this is the founding batch so we are going to have technical,cultural, sports as well as management festivals from March 2016. The students do attend the big festivals of other universities. There is a national conference going to happen in January 2016. And there are many festivals and conferences coming up by the March 2016 which will be a boon to the university. We are currently in making of these festivals so can't reach your 250 chracters limit.

The fee structure depends on from person to person like according to some people it may sound expensive to some it may be feasible The univeristy study fees is around 2 lac per year.The accomodation fees is around 60000 for triple sharing in tower, 80000 for double shairing and 100000 for single room in tower. The other is apartment structure in which double shairing is 1 lac per year and single room is 1,20,000 per year. The electricity charges are extra. The AC room fees is Rs. 10000 extra.

There are many scholarships offered which are based on merit basis, merit cum means, jee mains score, jee mains rank. There is a scholarship for girls named "Hamari Pari" a CSR initiative by Hero Group.The scholarships vary from giving 25% to full discount in academic fees as well as lodging and mess.The loan facility is also available.

The boys to girls ratio is 8:1. The campus life is very good. There are many clubs present like debating club, photography club, strategists club, online social media marketing club, robotics club, ACM and an NGO named SAVERA.The robotics club has participated in IIT DELHI as well as IIT GUWAHTI. The sports facilities are good enough. There is a lawn tennis court, badminton court, basketball, voleyball court.

Since we are the founding batch so there is no alumni. But there are groups of students made on social sites as Facebook, whatsapp.We will be having our alumni association as soon as the first batch graduates.

The Exam Structure contains suprise quizzes, assignments, challenging assignments, projects on how to apply different subjects in your real life. Besides this there are mid semester as well as end semester exams. Relative Grading is followed up in the university. Continuous Lab Evaluation is done as well as Lab exams are taken. This keeps us busy most of the time with different things.Students are encouraged to right research papers if they wish to.
