Join the mechanical group of Heritage institute!!

The admission process in our college is very easy and any student as well as parents can undertsand it clearly. The minimum eligibility criteria I to pass the higher secondary exam with 70% in PCM subjects and get a good rank in the JEE MAINS/WBJEE exams. If you have these then you can easily get the admission through counselling. The college admission form can be downloaded via the official website or you can simply visit the college office where you can get the physical copy of form and you can fill up and submit within due date. I have personally used the online method for applying. The fees for application is 1000INR. The admission dates are written during the admission. Period in the websites and hordings too near the college compounds. As of now everything is just perfect in the admission section some flaws are there but that's negligible. Overall I'm satisfied!

The course curriculum is very easily structured so that the students doesn't gets confused. I have chosen this stream because I had knack in machineries since childhood so I had to select this subject and get admitted to the college which has best modern machineries available. And telling you frankly I am just totally getting what I desired of. The quality of practicals and study is excellent here. The teachers are vastly experienced and they try to implement every bit on knowledge upon us. The professors are highly educated their degrees are either PhD,M.Tech or doctorate degrees. So you can imagine how much knowledgeable they are. Every teachers teaches in their own way. But they make us concepts clear so that we can easily pass and score a decent marks in semester exams. There are few surprise test unit tests and 2semester exams throughout the year. Which are very much easy to pass if you just go through the class notes provided by the respective teachers!!

Our college provides both online and offline internship programs based upon the choices of the students. The online program is conducted by intershala whereas the offline mode is conducted by the TCS. I have chosen to go with the offline mode under TCS. I had done internship in the gears section where I was being taught to control and assemble different gears in motor parts. So the hands on experience was very useful for me as well as the other students those who were with me. I would suggest to the new commers that please choose the offline method of internship as its much more fun and learning with practical knowledge. After the completion of the internship, we were provided with the stipend certificates by the TCS which added value to our CVs. The placement part is the best part of our college. The placement cell is very active and they always try to clear their students with the job they want. Due to the tie up with so many companies the vacancies for students are also in large scale. So the students don't need to worry that much. The students become eligible to get placements after getting into the 4th year to be precise when they reach 7th semester. So after sitting in couples of interview rounds when the candidate crack the round he/she gets selected by the company for their job offerings and aftr the course completion you can easily join the office. The highest package offered as of now is around 9.7lakh pa. And the average packages offered varies between 3.5-5lakh pa. So that's a decent pay scale according to me. The rate of students getting placed is very high. Its almost 65% per year. That's the success rate of the college. My plan is to join the job offered by the college campus as a mechanical engineer!!

The fees structure is very simple and understandable for every parents. The price is quite nominal according to the service which is provided by the college completely makes worth it! No hidden or extra charges are being taken apart from which is mentioned in the price chart. Our college provides every necessary help to the students who needs scholarships or any other kind of financial assistance like student's loan also. So in this case our college goes better than most of the other engineering college available in Kolkata. The student's yearly annual income must be under 1lakh rupees in order to claim maximum scholarship value. The campus job opportunities are full-fledged. Almost every deserving students gets the job with just minimal efforts. The success rate of our college is very high in this part.

Our college campus is very beautiful and spacious. Due to this, the students enjoy every bit of the time they spend here. The ones who are yet to come will also surely enjoy their time in our college. Every year the annual fest happens during the late months of the year I.e in between October- December, it varies every year. The tech fest also happens in between the mid-year in between May-June. Where different fun activities happen and students get to participate In that and get to learn many interesting things. The library part of the college is very big and it has lots of books ranging from journals, wildlife books, books on engineering, magazines and much more. Our college focused on sports activities as well. Different tournaments on football and cricket happen at infrequent intervals Every year. There are dance art music and social clubs being run by college students. Both seniors and juniors take active participation in this.
