Entrance Preview

I opted for B.Sc(Computer Science) in this college, it has an amazing infrastructure, and i didn't gave any entrance exam. But there was obviously an interview session with the principal of the college he asked my general family related questions. Where do i belong etc and asked some questions from 11,12th syllabus, some were tough even, like trignometry etc.

Internships Opportunities

TCS, WIPRO ,ACCENTURE etc. General stipend offered is 15-20k many students opted for tcs and many got selected and they got package of around 2.5lakh. There was no internship they were directly selected from the online registrations and interview process.

Placement Experience

Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture etc came for campus interview at our college and many deserving students gets selected even. Three guys from my class also got selected. They were offered around 2.5 lakh package whn they were selected to TCS.

Fee Structure And Facilities

24720 was my fee per year for B.Sc (Computer Science) which is worth the education facilities and faculity there. And also the extracurricular facilities like sports events. the fee is feasibe and not very expensive but as compared to other college a little bit high.

Fees and Financial Aid

I havent availed and scholarship/loan but the college do provide scholarship and freeship facility. Some students took benifits also i think.

Campus Life

The gender raitio is almost equal, there are some NRI students which have higher fees then the students from india, a girl was there from UAE her i tear fees was around 28720 per year, there wrere 10-15 NRI students and the normal student's fee was 24720 per year.

Alumni/Alumna

Teachers always welcome the alumini students, they keep meetings, set plans include them in every event always if they wish. All the alumini love there college and they miss there time alotss.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is very fine, it is all well organized and all the student give a clean exam due to cameras in all the classes and obviously invigilators. We enjoyed giving exams there was no trouble.

From 6 sem th students are eligible for campus placement, there were many companies which gave the placement in this college like eg infosys, biochroma, thakur polytechnic etcthe higesh package was about 11 lpa and average was about 5 lpa , about 80 percent students got the placements but my plan after getting the degree was to do masters

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

I chose ashoka as i felt it aligned with my academic and carrer goals at that time. i didn't applied to other colleges because none of them stood out to me as strong in the specific course.
