To be eligible for the course you have to take the WBJEE examination, the cutoff ranks for different branches are available online. The admission process is offline. Reservation is present for SC, ST, minorities and domicile candidates.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course of IT at Heritage Institute of Technology has a really good curriculum and is valuable for the future. The college has really good faculties who encourage you and are extremely knowledgeable. The faculty: student ratio of the course is also good approx(1:30).
Internships Opportunities
The college has its own placement and internship cell and students generally get internships in 3rd year of college. Students make their own projects in the 4th year of college which increases their depth in the subject matter and improves their cv.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of the college is approx 4 lakh for B.Tech (4years) which is low compared to other private colleges in India. The college doesn't provide any scholarship of its own but you will be informed of other government scholarships that you can avail of.
Campus Life
The fest is one of the best college fests in Kolkata. The library is big enough and is well maintained with varieties of books. The classrooms are big enough and the labs have all basic amenities. The college has its own football/cricket grounds and basketball court.
