Review on VIIT

The admission I got on the basis of my CET score which was 122. I belong to the VJNT category. So, I got admission in the Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology. The admission process was very smooth. They used to call each candidate into a projector hall and documents verification used to take place. Later after completing document verification, they provided the admission receipt and later there is a part of VIERP joining where your photographs are taken and body measurements for your uniform are taken.

The course I had chosen was computer science and technology. This college has a good placement ratio in this field of technology. Teachers were caring but had a lack of knowledge. Some were very good though.

There are various internship opportunities provided for students studying in the Third Year. The company's like Nvidia, persistent systems, and many more come for the internship. They provide learning programs first as they teach us java, GIT, HTML, JavaScript and many more in 4 months of duration. Later on, they allocate the project on the basis of the skillset that students have. I got an internship in Persistent Systems in the Salesforce department.

From the 6th semester itself, students get starting internships and placement offers from campus. There are near about 160 companies that visit our college some of them are amazon, Nvidia, Vmware, UBS, HSBC, persistent Systems, etc .highest paid package is 28 LPA. And the percentage of placement is 90+%. The only students who opt for higher studies remain off from placements. I have joined persistent Systems after my degree

The fees policy changes for every year freshers. It goes on increasing. And the structure of the fees depends on the category to which you belong. And if you got admission through management quota again fees structure changes. It is around 1,60000 for the open category. You can enrol for various scholarships provided by government schemes on MAH-DBT. As well there more opportunities for girls to avail themselves some other scholarships from poonawala etc. We get good opportunities to get paid internships in our college. And many more full time employment opportunities

We gave Gandharva every year in our college which goes on for 3-4 days. Different days like traditional day, twinning day, and many more days are celebrated. As well we have a good quality of lunch from campus in this fest. There are many more different groups in college like EDC, ACM, MESSA, Robotics, and many more to explore. Our college has a great library having books of UPSC, CAT, journals, technology-related books and many more. We also have a sports department and its head. He arranges many sports on campus and allows us to play table tennis and carrom on-premises.
