Eligibility is graduation with Mathematics (Major) or Statistics (Major). Student needs to visit the official website of Adamas University. The application form is available there. There is an entrance test for getting admission. After that, a Personal interview round is there for who clears the theory exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

Nowadays the demand for Data Science is increasing gradually. It is the application of Maths, Statistics, Computer science, etc. I am personally interested in this field. All faculties are highly qualified. All of them are from reputed Institutions. But there is a shortage of expert faculties in the Data Science domain. Exams conduct in due time & it is not hard if any student clears the basic concepts.

Internships Opportunities

I have completed an internship at NIT Arunachal Pradesh. There is a scope of internships at various renowned institutions as well as various reputed industrial sectors. During the internship, the student gets a chance to learn some extra skills.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placements in the 2nd semester. Companies like Nerdy Turtlez, TCS, IBM, etc visit here. The average package is 2.5L-3L. A good percentage of students get placed during the study.

Fees and Financial Aid

Approx cost is 2Lakhs. There is some scope for Scholarships. There was a Covid Amphan scholarship at the time of my admission. Around 25K was discounted from the actual fees. I didn't get any job on campus with a stipend. I got placed in Noida at a company with the help of CDC Adamas University.

Campus Life

The name of the annual fest is Adinova. Generally, it conducts in April. The library consists of many good books. Ebooks are also available there. There are 2 libraries at University. If any book is unavailable the authority tries to bring it. Classrooms are with Projectors, AC, etc. But some of the classroom's AC doesn't work properly. There are some playgrounds. Various clubs are there. Food courts are also available. Overall it is good for refreshment.

Interview Experience

Questions are generally from Maths & Statistics background. Students should know basic Maths & Stats. The fundamental concept is important. I prepared by solving some tricky problems & got the basic idea of the subject.

Placement Experience:

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

Placement Experience:

Actually Some of the Local Companies & Private banks Offer placements which are averagely worth 250000/-. Some of the Students appear for it , but the Number is Very less. Actually In Present Circumstances , Most students wants a stable Government, Especially Central Gov job . So they Prepare for exams like SSC , SBI , IBPS, LIC , RRB etc.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.

From the 2nd last semester, that is the final year, students become eligible for campus placements. Last year, two of our seniors got placed at Reborn Child Development Centre (Durgapur and Asansol) with an average package of Rs 200,000. This year, three students of our batch, including me, got an internship for three months at Reborn through an in-person interview.

Placement Experience:

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Currently, Adamas University is the best ranked private university in the whole eastern india and ranks in top 10 in all over India. I had applied to IEM kolkata, The Neotia University and brainware university simultaneously. I chose this college due to the excellent placements. I didn't take admission to IEM kolkata as the fees were really high. Also, i didnt take admission in The Neotia University and brainware university due to their not-so-efficient placements.
