the admission process was pretty much smooth. I have taken admission from my wbjee ranking system, if any individual wants to apply for the hitk IT department he/ she can get a place if he/she scores a rank of 2700-3000. if you are a student from West Bengal then you can apply for TFW in which you can avail free education from the college

the faculty of the IT department are very helpful in nature and help you in every part of your life. special mention of the HOD of the IT department because she treats every student as her child and helps him/her in every possible way. the faculty is highly qualified almost every professor holds a PhD degree and at the same time very kind at heart which is rare to see. Every semester there are two internal examinations out of which the best one will be taken into account the syllabus is straightforward and that much hard to complete. If a student goes through class notes and attends most of the classes then it is easy to pass in every exam

Accenture, TCS, Amazon, Microsoft and Oracle and many more companies higher students in the third year on the basis of their skills and projects for paid internships. the stipend of the internship may range from 10k -to 50k according to your skills gained. if you have skills for web development then you must make a unique website for your cv and do make 2-3 other fully functional sites to show them your skills.

After the 6th sem i.e, after the third year, students can apply for placements as they like. last year amazon has recruited more than 30-35 students and students were highest placed by google though the no. of them was less this year. This year's average placement was 8-9lakhs and about 95 % of them got placed till now. I

In the first year fees are almost 1.15 lakhs and every year it increases by 4-8 thousand. A student whose financial status is not that stable can either apple for swami Vivekanand merit-cum-means scholarship or he can apply before the wbjee exam for TFW admission. In the SVMCM scholarship you get a yearly stipend of 60,000 (probably change next year)and the TFW candidates do not have to pay fees all along 4 years except the admission charge which sums around 30,000 (in which around 10,000 is refundable after completion of the course) if you can acquire great skills in the first semester only then you can apply for an internship and can earn around 10k monthly but it all depends on you, the college will provide an opportunity of an internship in the third year.

Every year we have our annual fest named eclecia and there are many other also like sports, tech, entertainment etc. different fests happen all over the year but annual fest eclecia generally occur around mid-may aur June. we have a very huge library in which you can find almost every type of book concerning your academics to your self-study. there are more than 15 clubs from which a student can choose 3 clubs at most to join but every student must have to join at least one club. There tech club GDSC(google developer student club) has a telegram channel that has more than 9k members at present and there the seniors do teach new developer courses to fressers.
