SIT - best in placement and campus life

Eligibility of the course is checked by the jee main rank and seat availability for spot admission. Jee's main counselling by OJEE is done after the declaration of jee main result. Spot admission is for a very short time which should be increased for other state students

Due to high placements and demand in today's world, I selected this course as SIT as this college is one of the best in Orissa. The faculty-student ratio is ABOUT 2: 50. All the faculties are well qualified and degree holders in their respective fields like doctorates and professors. Ther are very cooperative. Exams are held every 5-6 months and are easy to pass if one just studies the notes and assignments given in the class.

Major tech companies come providing internship opportunities to students and various seminars are organised by the college also. Internship in the fields in which students are interested like coding, graphic, designing, AI ML, etc is provided by companies along with stipends around 20 k per month and certificates which help students during the on-campus placement drives and interviews.

Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester or 3rd year. Tech giants like TCS, Wipro, HCL, cognizant, etc come as mass recruiters and hire students at an average package of around 4.5 lacs. While the highest package from the college is a whopping 26 lacs. Around 90 per cent of students from the CSE branch gets placed with an overall 75% placement record. While the rest of the students opt for higher studies

The fee Structure of the college is moderate for a private institution in a smart City like Bhubaneswar which will cost around 6 lacs for 4 years ( excluding hostel charges). For economically weaker students scholarships like national scholarships, state scholarships, private compay scholarship and local scholarships from the Odisha government for the state residents are provided by the college.

The annual fest is full of joy and excitement held in the month of April every year with a number of tech fests held around every month with events like dancing, singing, debate, speech, etc. The library is a huge one with over 2.5 lacs of books and journals and newspapers. Classrooms are big and well ventilated with labs being air-conditioned. Sports events like football, cricket badminton, volleyball, etc tournaments are held on a regular basis. Social clubs for students in various fields are also made in which students can participate.

Rooms are big and given on a first come first get basis. The cost is slightly higher for AC rooms and meal is quite hygienic and delicious. Rooms are provided at the time of admission on the basis of students' needs and the availability of rooms. PGs are available in the town within 2 km from the college.
