Remarks

It's a women's college and the first cutoff for this college is low as compared to other colleges at DU. You just need to apply online on the DU portal and fill out the form where you need to give your personal and educational information. You have to submit the required documents. Once done you will get registered on the portal and then the college will contact you for further procedure.

Course Curriculum Overview

This college offers graduate courses in Food Technology as well as graduate and post-graduate courses in Home Science. Highly experienced teachers are there. They try to provide you notes in pdfs which other colleges may or not provide. Also, they make students learn snd understand by doing things practically or by using ppts slides or in the form of videos and pictures. Internal exams are held once every month so that students got a perfect revision of whatever they've done so far.

Fees and Financial Aid

Colleges' yearly fee is 50k to 60k approximately. It also offers placement with a yearly package of 6.3 lakh. This college also provides scholarships for students scoring a good percentage in 3 years. Various students are placed in Amity University, Child in need institute, Sigma Research & Consulting Pvt. Campus Life

Events are one of the best parts of our college the fest n Dj eve and freshers were always amazing. Dj eve is conducted once a year. Fest in twice a year. Freshers party for welcoming new students and farewell too bid goodbye. Also, the college conducts a fresher talent contest where fresher showcase their special talents.

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

Good and nice college to opt for if one wants to be a dietitian.

Admission process was totally offline first i had to fill out the form for it then the cut off came for it in which i found my name. Then i go to college and completed further admission process by submitting my documents and submitting fees for the course. Admission in the course totally depends upon the merit list and no entrance is there for it.
