Remarks

Well here is the reason, college has good faculty, good infra, quality education, Good food. Well negetive side is that recently college had been in news regarding attendence issue. college is too strict in terms of attendence. college recently got new principal and I think that she is not that capable to handle this college as it was been handled by previous principal. Management has been degraded slightly in past few months.

Entrance Preview

Admission for bsc (IT) course totally depends on maths marks. I scored 87/100 in maths and got selected in first merit list. There is mo such interview process. Admission process was much easy and staff was very helpfull for guiding each and every process in detail.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Bsc IT course curriculum is very good. It covers very interesting and trending topics. Many practicals are covered in course structure. Faculty in Usha Pravin Gandhi is very talented and helpful. You can ask them any doubts at any time and they are ready to solve them. Many experienced faculty in their respective fields are there in college.

Internships Opportunities

My placements are yet to happen.

Placement Experience

4.5

Looking at previous records of college, placements and job opportunities are best. Many good companies come to college like tcs, infosys, reliance, etc. Many students gets placed in campus placements.

College Events

4.5

Usha Pravin Gandhi college has its own festival called Aah

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is no hostel facility here.Fees for indian students are ?25, 000 approx and for students outside india its little bit costly affair. Mess food ill rate it 10/10. college has nearly 4-5 canteens and they offer very good quality, affordable, pure veg food.

Fees and Financial Aid

As per my knowledge college does not offer any scholarships/loans as of now.

Campus Life

5

Campus life in Usha Pravi Gandhi college is very good. Gender ratio here according to me is equal. There are many student commities in college which plans festivals and work for good cause. We can participate in any. Students from many caste come here. There is 0% tolerance policy for gender, caste discrimination in this college. Many other compitions are held in college to make our extra curricular life more better.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network and seniors are too good and helpful. They guide us in every thing. college has mentorship program in which seniors become mentors of juniors and solve their doubts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
