Remarks
You Have to fill registration form at the official website of delhi university which is du.ac.in after that DU will announce cutoffs for various courses and colleges. You have to select the suitable college where you want to study and pay the first year fees, after this principal of your college where you have applied will approve your application. From Year 22-23 DU will organise a entrance exam for admission which is CUET.
Course Curriculum Overview
I Want to get into commerce field thats why i chose BCOM Program as my course. In SLC we have 200+ faculty teaching various courses to various students. Majority of Faculties of SLC had done Phd in their respective field and their teaching method is well appropriate. Every 6 months we have semester exams and they are not much difficult even studying for 1 week before exams students get easily passed.
Internships Opportunities
Internship Opportunities In SLC is not that much good as very few internship opportunities are provided here. Students themselves find internship through linkedin or internshala. College does not provide ant internship opportunities hereto the first year students but few internships are provided to Second and third year students.
Placement Experience
Students generally here dont opt for placements after bachelors degree. Mostly students studying here opt for further studies to get much better package. But generally average package here is 3 lakh approx for a bcom program graduate student. 80% Of students who opt for placements here gets placed. My Plan is also to opt for further studies rather than getting placed just after bachelor degree
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees In SLC is very less. Only 16450 for first year and if you are from reservation quota your fees will be much lesser than this. So cost to study here is very less as compared to other private colleges which charge 50k-1lakh per year.
Campus Life
Campus life here is very good. We have so many societies here like singing, dancing, band, commerce society, NSS, films and photography etc. We have a enterpreneurship cell also. And library here is much decent, majority books are available here. We have hockey ground here at SLC and a cricket ground also.
