Remarks
To take admission in this college, you should have to appear for the WBJEE entrance exam or you can also take admission here through your JEE Mains rank... you'll get the application form of WBJEE on its official site (wbjee. nic. on), application form fee is 500 & keep checking it's official site for the updates. If you're from West Bengal domicile then, you'll get some reservation benefits here, else you'll have to put your own effort to perform better in this college. But, it's not matter a lot because college will provide you only the platform from where you can play, it all depends upon you that how you work upon yourself to develop your own extra skill so that you can able to achieve greater heights. And, the admission procedure of this college is very appreciative...you won't regret upon its management system.
Course Curriculum Overview
I've chosen the ECE branch here in this college cause placement scenario in these branches (CSE ECE IT) is so well and good. But, somehow, I couldn't able to acquire seat in CSE department but I do eligible for IT here in this college ...still I insist to go for ECE cause I'm quite interested for this stream as well. Faculty members of this college are so well and good...all the teachers are well qualified (PhDs, Mtech, etc.,) from IITs & other best institutes. They all are very cooperative to the students queries and questions & easily clarify your all of the doubts. Internal exams are not that difficult...you'll easily able to score better marks ...all you have to do is to just study for your end semester exams because, there you'll find some difficulty in solving questions if you haven't studied well ...
Placement Experience
The placement scenario in our college is not that classy but, yeah if you have strong skills & knowledge then you can reach the maximum package from any of the college. Here, the highest package goes in CSE around 40lac (off campus)...& avg package for the main branches is 5 to 6 lac.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is not that high... it'll definitely comes in your range...as of now, total tuition fees for your whole Btech course are around 5 lac. But, for some students it may be little costly, so in that case you can also avail some scholarships on the basis of your marks which you've got in class 10th & 12th or you can applied for education loan at minimum interest.
Campus Life
You'll be a little disappointed by seeing the college campus as the campus area is not large here, it nearly covers only 4 to 5 acres of the land. But, you won't regret with the other aspects as here you'll see all of the social clubs & groups where you can join yourself and enjoy these things. Here...each department have their own fest. Basically, I'm from ECE department so I'll share my experience only about my own departmental fest (i.e., called "ZENER")... it'll not gathered so many people but yeah, you'll definitely enjoy it the most...all the things which will entertain you guys, will present there in the fest. Our college library contains all the books of different categories, again it is made in small area but at least you'll easily able to find a chair and a table with a peaceful environment where you can read the books of your own choice.
