Free parking facility for cars as well as motorcycles, lift facilities for students. Centralized AC in classrooms as well as the lobby. Good quality of seats for students in the classrooms and a big round table conference hall for seminar and college placement. Good quality of food is available in canteen including tea, coffee and other refreshments. College canteen is almost like a restaurant.

The criteria for admission into this course is to pass 12th std. with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects and a choice between chemistry, biology. You must also secure 40-50% to apply here for B.tech in Mechanical.

The course curriculum includes presentations, tests, technical enhancements etc. The teachers use updated study material for the studies here. Students are asked to volunteer for college activities but attendance credit is not given.

Yes, GEC provides Summer internship programs for students who are pursuing B.Tech or MBA. The companies that came up for the internship are HCL, Creative technos, Doordarshan, Idea Cellular Limited, BSNL, WIPRO, Aditya Birla Group Jabalpur. The average stipend offered was 5000 per month.

Many companies visits every year for recruitment. This year, the placement started from September and Saint Gobain was the 1st company to visit the campus. Two students got selected there. About 60% students are already placed till January and still many companies are in the pipeline. The highest salary so far is 9.5 lac per year and the average is between 5-8 Lac per year.

There are some events that happen here like festival celebrations but who would stay here for the festival celebration, everybody used to go to their home town for celebrations,other than this there were trekking,rock climbing events which occured once.

The college offers scholarships to extra meritorious students who did well in the entrance examinations and the ones who are not able to pay the whole amount like SC, ST or OBC. Along with reservations they are given scholarships based on merit.

What a waste in the campus, you gotta study on your own, no sports ground for playing basketball,lack of companies for placements and very few good people to interact with.

GEC provides hostel services for boys as well as girls but being a Delhi resident I did not like staying at hostel, So I travelled back n forth which was also the reason I could not study much.

Alumni are approachable through the alumni page. Senior students are also available for the ease of students providing them with the most of information they have about the campus as well as the exams.

The students were provided with classroom training, industrial visits to avail practical and application knowledge. Apart from this the exams are held every year with a view to encourage students for better learning and understanding of the concepts.

Faculty members always try to help the students to score good marks in placement exams so that they can get selected for the placement process. Faculty members are good. They have good teaching experience. Some of them are very helpful in nature because they have good knowledge of their respective subjects.
