This course has helped to face the real world and the demands of corporate pressure simultaneously with studies even before I finished my post graduation. Believe me I would have been lost after completion of my course understanding how corporate world operates and works, but at GEC I was relieved from all those worries.

At the time of entrance you have to show your 12th marksheet with minimum 50% in best four subjects, after that you have to fill up the form and appear for interview , if you get a call after that then you are selected. More importantly you must have physics chemistry mathematics as you subjects.

The average duration for the course is 4 years where there are 8 semesters out of which 7 are academic and 8th is the internship. Course offers the students to explore different aspects of science.

I was among the first few students who got very early recruitment for internships. I recommend students to be a part of this institute.Students did their internship in ITC, ChangeMyTyre, Jindal Steel and many different companies. Some companies make you work for no stipend in return.

GEC claims 100% placement. Many companies visited last year for placement. Senior batch got good placements. Reputed companies like Bata, impassive brands like Puma and Adidas offered handsome amount.

It has various cultural events and guest lectures for students. The college hosts an intra-college festival which is pretty fun. And the most fun is our college fest which hosts a brilliant no. of stalls by brands and restaurants like Biryani Blues, Dominos, Mad Over Donuts, ChokoLa, etc

Fees for the whole course is very high which is for the curriculum which include 30,000 deposit but it is fine as the Return On Investment is pretty good when it comes to placements.

College has good tie-up with banks for loan facility and education loan guidance. IDBI, state bank, Allahabad bank, BOI and Axis bank are some of the banks that are available. Plus it provides so many scholarships to students that those cannot be left behind who are financially not strong.

Campus life was superb as me and my friends hang out at the cafeteria which offers hygienic food but the variety is not much as they have the same menu everyday with a little changes sometimes

There is a provision of accomodation for the students to provide them all the facilities they need, to compete with other students regardless of any stress. the food at mess is great but the accomodation is expensive.

Placements for senior batch was above average and almost 85% students were placed at the time and rest afterwards. Talented peer group helps in enhanced learning.

The exams are conducted once every semester and before that there are projects and assignments to be completed, also attendance is an issue here, you have to maintain a minimum of 60% attendance else you will be debarred from the examination.

Faculty members are qualified and well knowledgeable in their respective syllabus. Really helpful and cool faculty members. Methods of teaching are practical and theoretical, both. There are enough faculty members for each department. I didn't get any industry exposure. The faculty members are less in number but that is never a problem due to their helpful nature.
