1. Eligibility for the course- JEE Mains score 2. Applications are submitted through HSTES official website for counseling in different courses. Application fees were appx. 500 for girl candidates & application dates are released soon after JEE Mains result.

I always had a knack for solving Mechanics problems, and based on my rank in JEE Mains 2017 i.e. 42K- I was bestowed with two streams in YMCA- IT & Mechanical, given my prior interest in Mechanical & the fact that YMCA historically was for Mechanical Diploma seeking students & had a good placement in the field due to long build relations with majorly the automobile & Manufacturing industries in Faridabad. I opted for this.

Companies that offer internships include Eicher tractors Bhopal at 8K stipend, Dabur at 12K, unthinkable solutions at 12K, and the rest mostly are stipend free. Under stipend at Eicher, I was provided with a project in Manufacturing Engineering deptt of designing a pneumatic poka-yoke to clamp the tractor at the station unless all class of intended oils is filled at the station to decrease rework cost, time & improve customer satisfaction.

Placements are not at par with students' expectations, though many companies visit the campus avg package offered is very low for the majority of students. In mechanical, companies like Maruti, Jindal stainless Hisar ltd., Dabur, Escorts, Denso, etc. Visit out of which Maruti offers a max of 8.40. Lacs, Jindal at 6, Dabur at 7, and Escorts/ Denso at 4 Lacs. Around 60% of the students get placed, the rest either opt for high studies or remain unplaced.

As mentioned earlier, semester-wise fees were 34,000/- appx. Encompassing tuition fees & other charges. The college has good relations with the Vishwa Prakash mission scholarship trust which provides financial assistance of around 60000 a year and is subject to withdrawal at any time given your deteriorating academic record. Apart from this, there are other scholarship trust as well including Siemens which also offers extended scholarships to the benefitted students.

Culmyca is the annual cultural & technical fest of the college which is conducted around April of each year, may now differ slightly due to covid induced changes. The college has a library where books associated with your courses & others are administered. Classrooms have fan facilities, and no ACs or cooler were there at our time. There is a recreational activities room in front of the college canteen which is intended for conducting different sports & other entertainment activities. A basketball & football ground is also there where students enjoy during evenings. There are many students run clubs in the college including Microbird for electronics & electrical students, Manan for CSE students, SAE & Mechnext for Mechanical students, Ananya for literature, tarunnam for music, and Nataraja- dance society & a lot more for nearly each of your interest.

The hostel has 4 students sharing a room for girls & 3 for boys but where girls of all years are provided accommodation, boys are given only for 1 st year since the building is under construction. Hostel food is of sub-optimal quality but is eatable to satiate the appetite. Hostel registrations are filled along with the college admission forms submission. PG's are a dime a dozen in the locality, you may find them on sec 11, sec 10, sec 8, and sec 7 which are nearer to the college location and are rented at an avg of 7000/- month.
