Remarks
I got admission on merit basis in the first cut off itself. As i took admission during corona crisis, admission procedure was online only. We had to submit our marksheet in pdf format on Delhi University admission portal. It was then sent to verification by respective colleges. Once verified, your admission is confirmed.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for life science as it provides a broader career scope. Overall faculty is fine. Some teachers are really good and dedicated, while some shirk from work and don't even provide notes. There were total 108 students divided into 2 batches. Practical classes were taken combined by 4 teachers. Semester exams are held timely, and passing the exams are not at all difficult. You just have to prepare past 10 years and you can easily score 8 CGPA atleast. Teachers are very strict for internals and practicals. There is a lot of work load by the end of semester due to practicals, internals, assignments, projects. So it is advised to complete the work on time in order to avoid the last minute chaos.
Placement Experience
Placements are for final year students Big companies like Delloite, KPMG, PWC etc. hire graduates from the campus.There were companies like MedalHunt offering recruitment in the field of sports too. The highest package was offered by Josh Talks i.e., 12 lacs p.a. Furthermore, E.Y. GDS selected students for an internship. I am planning to prepare for government exams after graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of this course is 14k per year. The college provides ample internship opportunities but most of them are unpaid which makes them unworthy. I am not satisfied with placements and internships here. College provides financial assistance to needy students. You can write application to principal's office to avail any assistance.
Campus Life
The annual fest is reverie held in November. Fest is overall good but there is no proper security. There are other departmental fests held all round the year. They are fine as well. Library is really good. You can find almost every book here Gargi also provides access to e-library There are many societies running in college ranging from dance to drama to singing. Societies provide you good exposure, so one should always join society based on one's interest.
