Remarks
To get admission to Shyam all college or any other college of Delhi university you have to first fill out the registration form at the official DU Portal and after that, you have to wait for cutoffs which are announced by Delhi University. If you met any cutoff then you have to pay first-year fees and after that principal of your college will approve your application form.
Course Curriculum Overview
In BCOM Prog we have various subjects like law, accounts, finance, audit, etc. We have multiple teachers for various subjects. Most of the teachers here had done Ph.D. in their respective fields. Their method of teaching is very good and the quality of teaching is also good here. For approx every 60 students we have 1 teacher. Semester exams here are not that much harder to crack.
Placement Experience
Generally, Students here do not opt for on-campus placement they opt for higher studies. But in general, if someone opts for on-campus placement then in BCOM Prog average package here is around 3-4 lakhs and in general 60-70% of students get placed. My plan after completing the degree is to pursue MBA from a good IIM college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The best part of Shyam Lal college is their low fees which are just 16450 for first-year BCom program students, If we compare it to another private college which charges around 50000 every year. So the cost of the study is very less here everyone can easily afford it.
Campus Life
There are many societies here like singing, dancing, films, photography, etc. We also have an active entrepreneurship cell here. In April and May, multiple annual fests are going on in the college. We also have a huge library in the college where every book is easily available.
