I was admitted to the course based on y result of HSC. I scored 74 percent in my HSC exams and applied for the course. The admission procedure has a 3 to 4 list of rounds, based on the percentage of an individual. The application form is available on the official website of the college. one can apply online, then there's an offline procedure for the admission according to the selected applications. There are reservation benefits for the students from an army background. I have friends who are from an army background. If the whole admission procedure could happen online, it will save time for many students,
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to learn a skill that I could do a job with or freelance using the skill. I also wanted a course that is practical with very less theory, hence, I chose the vocational course. The skills in the course are helpful for anyone who wants to grow on social media. we had 22 faculties for 6 semesters in total. The faculty taught us software that was trending in the industry. But, once the software is taught practice Is necessary to excel in any of the software. Everything was practical, the teacher would show the use and basics of the software with their system, and immediately we were asked to practice, and our doubts cleared the spot. the exams were pretty regular even in the lockdown. each term would have a time of 5 months. Theory exams were easy to clear, but the practical exams were a matter of lot of practice and consistency in submitting the assignments on time.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of completing the course was around 3 to 4 lakhs.it includes the cost of my course, a laptop other stationery items, and hostel and mess fees as well. The transportation cost is not added here.
Campus Life
The fest is conducted in the month of November. The fest organized are the departmental fests. The campus Is decorated with colorful banners, posters, and colorful stripes. The dhol Pathak is a mandatory part of the cultural fest and symbolizes the heritage of the campus. During the fest, one can participate in various dance, music, and drama competition. There are various tattoos, games, face painting, and flash mobs in the college during the fest. The college has a huge library and the animation department has a separate library which contains books about art. The classrooms have whiteboards, desks, and chairs and plenty of sunlight and air. we spent most of our time inside the laboratories. The laboratory has computers, and a screen for teachers, and the lightroom has lightboxes for various 2d drawings. The campus has a badminton court, basketball court, football ground, and various inter-college competition that takes place here. there are clubs that students could join .
