for the selection process for which I applied, there is a particular exam called the E-chat exam which had questions related to general knowledge, aptitude, mathematics, and current affairs. Later, we had a personal interview round in which the interviewer asked us questions like why we wanted to join this course.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college provides an advanced program in hospitality administration, which has 4 core subjects consisting of Front Office, Food and Beverage Service, Food Production, and Housekeeping. the 4 core subjects are equal for everyone till semester 5, and they provide an option for major specialization. hence, till semester 5 students everyone has to study all the subjects and a particular department for semester 6.
Internships Opportunities
A 6-month internship is provided by the college in year 2 of the course at locations of may or may not be according to the student's preference. 5-star hotels are connected for the industrial exposure training.
Placement Experience
the training and placement department is capable enough to place the students in well-reputed hotels and other fields the student wishes. the college also provides an option for higher studies (international or domestic) and helps accordingly. hotels like Taj, Lemon Tree, and ITC hotels have conducted placement drives on the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
we had to pay 1,88,000 per year, every year the fees get hiked by some percentage but it is worth the opportunities they provide. the college provided a scholarship in which the student had to score more or equal to 80% in class 12th.
Campus Life
the college conducts numerous events and fests to engage the students and make the students learn from the practical understanding. as a part of the curriculum, 3rd yr students conduct an annual food fest with the help of all the juniors, many industry specialists are invited. apart from this, many other events engage the students to take place on the campus.
Interview Experience
the group discussion topics were general and easy related to what is currently going on in the world so that everyone tries to speak up. the e-chat exam was easy, it had questions related to aptitude and mathematics, and logical reasoning.
