Remarks
I have appeared in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination and secured a rank of 29413 and get admission to the Dept of Mechanical Engineering, NSEC. I have to go through 3 rounds of counseling process conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board to finally get the Seat Allotment in NSEC.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our syllabus is based on AICTEs' syllabus and the course curriculum is created by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Unversity of Technology. The Course Curriculum is designed in such a manner that it gives maximum exposure to the scientific world of engineering & technology. Faculty members are the most important part of this journey, Our faculty have never let us down they have always supported us with their excellence in the topic Apart from that all of them have a minimum degree of M.Tech and many of them have PhDs.
Internships Opportunities
In NSEC internship opportunities are provided based on the domain Dept. of Mechanical Engineering provided us a great opportunity to learn as an intern in NTPC, Bakreswar, and other than that many software training opportunities are there like AutoCAD, ANSYS, CREO, etc
Placement Experience
Placements at NSEC are a very big aspect to take admission, We have a very hard-working placement cell working hand to hand with our faculty and PR to make sure that every student gets a fair and legit chance to get a job based on skill & preference. In the academic year, 2021-2022 the highest package offered is 32LPA by Amazon, and overall placement opportunities have been given to every student in companies like TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Capgemini, etc, Other than that core engineering companies like Utkarsh, Pinnacle, TEGA, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was no such fees hike in our college, we have given the detailed fees structure at the start of the course and have to follow it through ut the course. As a fresher, we can apply for Swami Vivekananda scholarships and many other scholarships from the west Bengal gov't, Apart from that I personally applied for the Tuition Fee Waiver scheme of the Govt. of West Bengal in the counseling process and was selected as a tfw candidate, So I have completed my entire 4-year B.Tech in just Rs 70k. In short, help is always there in NSEC for the one who is seeking it.
Campus Life
According to me the most important part of NSEC is the Central Library, It constist of the high functioning computerised digital libraby , Libraby and Student zone Campus of NSEC contain a lots of spaces layzone for games like badminton , carrom , table tennis etc, It also has a pretty big garden area as well
