Remarks
Students need to appear for WBJEE and secure a good rank in the joint entrance examination. The admission process is the simplest of all. The students just need to fill a form and submit it in the office. There is an alternative method for the students who want to fill the form online. They need to download the form, fill it up and submit it in the online portal of MSIT.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am a final-year student. The reason I took up mechanicals was I had a keen interest in physics since 11th or 12th. The teachers are very helpful. They always give their 100% for the betterment of students. They put in the extra efforts required in this pandemic situation to ensure our bright future. Faculties are highly qualified, they hold M.tech and Ph.D. degrees. There are a few internals and 2 semesters exam per year. By following the lectures and class notes one can easily pass them.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are offered in both online and offline modes. Students get paid for the work they do as an intern but learning is the most important aspect of an internship. A lot of students are offered internships by the company itself in which they are placed.
Placement Experience
The placement rate of our college is very high. I could grab an offer at TCS in my 7th semester and received a package of 7 LPA, thanks to the guidance and rigorous efforts put in by the placement cell and faculty members.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee taken by our college is the minimum I have seen for an engineering course. There are no hidden charges in the back of the semester fee. I paid my entire college fee through the DRCC loan process and our college was were helpful in providing me the required documents to apply for loan and subsequent payments of the loan.
Campus Life
In a city like Kolkata, I will say that the college is lovely and large enough. The environment in the college is calm and gives positive to the students. Every year the cultural annual fest and tech fests are organised by our college. For me sport tournaments were the best part of my college life as they were organized every year. Students also have unlimited access to library books, journals, current affairs,etc.
