Remarks
I got admission through WBJEE. After the entrance, exam ranks are published and counseling started and I secured a seat at NSEC. I got an allotment letter from that counseling center and was given a date to visit for admission. The admission process is very simple and easy. After submitting the filled-up form from the college office you'll get a call from them for further proceedings.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have already mentioned that the education system is very good here. The syllabus is based on AICTE and the course curriculum is designed by MAKAUT. All of our Faculty are very frank with us. They help us so nicely. Mechanical Engineering is a quite good stream in engineering. Here One can get a good career opportunity.
Internships Opportunities
Internship based on your skill how you perform in class and in interviews and your communication skill you have to work hard in intern. Many companies hire interns like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Microsoft, Google, etc. The stipend per month.
Placement Experience
Getting placement from the college is like a wish for every student who joins a college. So yes our college tries to maximize this thing every year. More and more students are getting placed every year in MNC like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, TechMahindra, and many more large companies. Students become eligible for campus interviews as soon as they reach the 4th year level. They go through several interview rounds and after cracking the interview they get selected for the job.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of this college are very lower than any other private engineering college in Kolkata. And there was no fee hike as such. We have given the details fees structure at the start of the course and have to follow it till the end. No, I haven't opted for any scholarships during my course.
Campus Life
Netaji Subhash Engineering College provides good WIFI facilities. The college includes a Central Library where you can find any kind of books. The size of the campus is well maintained. Inside the college campus is an anti-ragging zone. There are few social clubs including social work are being done by the college students especially the seniors who conduct this and junior students also participate. During January & February, sports are organized which include Cricket, Football, Badminton, etc.
