Entrance Preview
I gave MHT-cet and scored 119 marks in it. Because of less marks I didn't had much choice apart from sit,MIT and modern college. I wanted to go for mechanical branch so I opted for this college as it was the only college in my list which had less cut off.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is mostly theoretical based without any touch of practical experience. So most of the time you tend to forget what you learned in your previous course.
Internships Opportunities
No they don't provide any internship nor they appreciate doing any internship. College authority expects us to complete our internship during our vacation period, which is hardly of 15 days. You have to find internship by your own.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are very few for mechanical and electrical branch while IT and comp students get more opportunities. This pattern is same in all colleges, its easy to get place in an IT company then getting a job in your core company.
College Events
There are various technical and non technical events such as Techspark, spandhan, Engineer's day. Under techspark there are more then 100 events technical and non technical .
Fee Structure And Facilities
They have normal fee structure not too expensive nor too cheap. This year it was 85,000 rs for open. For obc it is approx 40-45k while that of sc NT is 4-5 k. There are various scholarship for ST/NT students .
Fees and Financial Aid
Not any extra scholarship is given from college, apart from scholarship given by pune university and state government.
Exam Structure
As being under pune university the exam structure is same as that of university pattern. 50% online 50 theory upto second year and after that 30-70 pattern in which a insem exam will be conducted by university of 30 marks and a endsem exam will be conducted at the end of the sem of 70 marks by pune university.
Admission
I got admission in this college through DTE CAP rounds. I chose this college because of the name which it had ( which is not good now). The DTE conducted 2 rounds based on merit and number scored in cet exam, the merit list were given and according to your rank you get your college, you have to give at least 10 college name based on your preferences in descending order.
