Ymca - Review

The admission process is quite smooth and completely transparent. You have to clear JEE Mains exam and should have a decent AIR to get core branch in this college. The application form is released on HSTES website after the release of the result. And cut-off are released on that website itself. Residents of Haryana,SC,ST,OBC and EWS can avail of reservation benefits.

I am really very fond of programming and data analysis that's why chose Data Science. The student ratio is comparatively better in data science than any other course with 60% boys and 40% girls. Faculty here is very much educated and friendly. Most of the teachers have done PhD or Mtech. Their teaching methods are quite easy to understand. Sessional exams are held every month and semester end exams are held after approx 6 months. Questions in exams generally comes from whatever taught in the class.

Many companies come for internships mainly media.net, Samsung , amazon etc . They give high salary to freshers as compared to TCS, Wipro, etc . COMPANIES MAINLY COMES FOR SDE role . The internships are for 3 months

Students become eligible for Oncampus internship from 6th semester itself. Many companies starts visiting College for interns at very attractive stipends. Even students starts getting placement in 6 semesters. Highest placement offered is 28Lpa by Amazon and lowest goes upto 3Lpa. Most of the students get placed from Computer engineering. I have also planed to sit for placement in the coming semester.

The fees of this college is comparatively better than any other college in terms of Return of investment. Fees of the college is approx Rs.75000 per year. But their are lots of scholarship opportunities provided by the state government, college and other private organisations. Financial assistance is provided to reservation casts or economical backward students. Companies start getting interns from college from the sixth semester at an attractive stipends.

Due to the pandemic no fest has been organized for 2 years but this year our college is organising freshers for first year student. Our college also organises CULYMCA which is one of the most famous fest of Haryana. Since our college has a bit small ground it becomes a bit difficult to organise more than one sports at the same time. Their are lots of clubs and cells in our college both technical and non technical clubs.
